My name is Michelle and I’m the founder of Taylor Kate Candles.
Welcome to Taylor Kate Candles where we offer a beautiful collection of hand poured, made with love, natural wax candles, wax melts and accessories.
We have worked hard to create a range of products – where possible we use only recyclable, compostable, biodegradable, eco-friendly, pet friendly, cruelty free and vegan friendly products.
All candles and melts are made with love, hand poured by me in small batches at my home in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire.
Where did the name come from?
The name is derived from the middle names of my two amazing children. Whilst I worked in beauty, fashion, design and styling businesses for many years, I’ve always been obsessed with candles, melts, scents and fragrances for the home. After suffering for some time with anxiety, panic attacks and a number of other things I was diagnosed with ME and fibromyalgia so it felt like the time was right for me to find something I could do from home. Lockdown gave me the opportunity to follow a long held dream. It gave me the time to continue my research, to experiment and learn, test and refine and now I have a range of products that I am so proud of and excited about that I want to share them with you.
I’m so very very lucky that I have a great partner and two wonderful children together with my son’s partner who have all helped and supported me on this journey together with my wonderful parents and extended family. I am very blessed to have them all in my life.
Scents & fragrances
I’ve tried hard to choose scents and fragrances that are a bit different and as natural as you can make them. It was very important to me where possible to only use recyclable, compostable, biodegradable, eco-friendly, pet friendly, cruelty free and vegan friendly products, materials and packaging as they are better for our health and our environment.
